Rusell Edward Mohr

	Russell Edward Mohr, age 71, of Pinckneyville, died at his home on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at 7:20 p.m.
	Russell was born on July 8, 1930 in rural Perry County, the son of Edward P. and Emma (Walkenhorst) Mohr.  He married Carolyn E. Linstead on July 20, 1957 in Pinckneyville at the United Church of Christ.  Russell was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany between WW II and Korea.  He was a retired farmer, a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville and served on the Consistory for the church.  Russell was also a member of the Farm Bureau, American Thresherman Association, Grade School District #50 Board and the weed control officer for Perry County.
	Russell is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of Pinckneyville; one son, David, also of Pinckneyville; two daughters, Rose Tidwell and husband Chris of St. Louis, Mo. and Judy Logsdon and husband David and her two children, Seth and Andrea, all of Pinckneyvillle; three brothers, Carl Mohr and wife Mary Ann of Pinckneyville, Robert Mohr  and wife Ann of Cutler and Edward Dean Mohr and wife Pat of Murphysboro; six sisters, Martha Kendrick and husband Bill of Harrison, Ark., Betty Brostmeyer and husband Euclid of Tamaroa, Dorothy Storz of Cahokia, Deloris Bender and husband Bill of Pinckneyville, Mary Greer and husband Charles of Pinckneyville and Emma Jean Johnson and husband Terry of Coulterville.  Russell was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Laura Epplin.
	Funeral services were Saturday, July 6 at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville with Reverend Howard Self officiating.  Interment was in the Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until services.
	 Memorials may be made to Hospice of Perry County or the Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society.
	Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville was in charge of arrangements.
